About Us
Be The Change Inc is a non-profit organization dedicated to combating hunger and providing essential support to those affected by food insecurities in Hardin County. Three years ago, Chef Maria Bell and our dedicated team established this organization in response to the devastating impact of the Corona Virus pandemic on our community.
Since its inception, "Be The Change Inc" has undertaken significant initiatives to address food insecurity in our community. One of our flagship programs involves the construction and installation of Blessings Boxes, which serve as accessible 24/7 food pantries. With the generous support of our community, we have successfully built and installed 18 Blessings Boxes throughout Hardin County, providing a vital resource for those in need. Our vision is to build and install as many Boxes as we can to end hunger in Hardin County and the surrounding areas.
Our commitment extends beyond the Blessings Boxes. We also organize and deliver free meals, particularly during the holiday season, ensuring that approximately 700 people in our community do not go hungry on significant occasions such as Christmas Day. This aligns with one of our core values - no hungry people, especially on Christmas Day.
To sustain and expand our impactful initiatives, we are reaching out to request grant funding. Your support will enable us to:

· Purchase essential food items to ensure the Blessings Boxes are consistently stocked and accessible.
· Provide meals to those facing food insecurities during critical times such as Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, Easter, and other holidays.
